It Takes Work…

It takes work. Everything. It’s been 10 days since my bilateral activation. Each day gets better- especially yesterday, I got my haircut😜 That means I got to put on my Kansa 2’s!!! For the first time in over 15 years, I was able to go out without something riding on my ears! It was absolutely fantastic!

so why am I talking about work? Hearing is hard. It is hard to train your brain to comprehend all the new noises. It’s hard to communicate with family and friends. it wears you out. But you know, if you keep at it, something good will come of it. That goes for everything. Today was fun- for the first time in three weeks I was able to do SOMETHING! So, what does one do when they haven’t been able to play for a while? Why make a knife!LOL it started out as a 6” piece of round steel, and with some work has ended up looking something like a knife! Next is to figure out how to put a handle on it. But in the mean time, back to listening apps- got to work hard to get these ears into shape!
